Ubangi is very excite to hear the initial lineup announcement for this year's Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans. The Stomp is one of the world's top music festivals, celebrating the true heroes of rock 'n' roll. It is run by a non-profit organisation called the Mystic Knights of the Mau Mau, and attempts to draw attention to some of the unsung and forgotten figures of American roots music.The first confirmed acts for this year are Duane Eddy, Sugar Pie DeSanto, Thee Midnighters, Red Simpson, Joe South and The Trashmen. Expect many more legendary acts to follow.
It all happens in new Orleans on September 24th and 25th.
